Just sands of time

Look at the sky tonight...

What do you see?

Do you feel the magic that is gone?

Can you remember when you let your innocence die?

Of course not...it was too long ago...

Do you have any memories of the days before everything turned to grey?

Now the stars are just lights in the sky ,distant suns.

Now you know good almost never prevails..

And there are no heroes...

Do you remember how it felt when our dreams died?

Do you even contemplate of what the word "dream" means?

How I wish we could still have a glimpse of those days...

You know purity once meant something...

There were days that we helped each other

just for the feeling of doing something right.

When was the first time that you understood that it's easier to fake it

than really feel something?

When was the first time that you didn't hesitate

to crush someone else's dreams just to have fun?

When did you understand that all that matters is you?

Only you...the world is just a mean to help you achieve your goals...

I think all these started when you learned

that we all are nothing more than dust ,

laying  in the desert of time... 
Waiting to be blown away...
